A Weekend in Mac Miller’s Hometown

Earlier this month we went to the annual celebration of Mac’s life in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From Blue Slide Park to Frick Park Market, Daily Bread, and Jerry’s Records Store, to the iconic Pittsburgh streets where music videos like Party on Fifth Ave and Knock Knock were filmed, we spent the day walking the same streets that shaped one of hip hop's most beloved artists.

At the celebration, we met fans who traveled across the country, locals who grew up down the street from him, and people who never met him but say his music got them through some of the hardest years of their lives. 

This is truly a tribute to show the love we and many other people have for Mac Miller.
