iKaanic, Harry Mack, and Henny Mack Bring the Heat

A recap of our Brooklyn Hip Hop Cypher event

Brooklyn came alive for a night centered around community and a shared love of hip hop. On March 7th, we hosted our second “In Peace” event with iKaanic, where he led cyphers throughout the night and performed his album “In Peace.”

After some hanging out, chatting, and listening to loud music… hip hop, of course, iKaanic kicked off the cypher with Henny Mack, a Brooklyn-based emcee. Henny Mack’s smooth, R&B–like flow paired perfectly with iKaanic’s edgier style. Both emcees had a talent for switching up their flows frequently, keeping the audience engaged the entire time.

Next, Harry Mack jumped into the mix, and all three emcees took turns on the mic. Harry Mack, an accomplished freestyler and artist based on the East Coast, brought a style that’s refined, witty, and incredibly impressive.

Harry, Henny, and iKaanic each brought a distinct sound, yet they bounced off each other seamlessly, syncing in a hypnotizing way.

After the cypher, iKaanic performed his debut album, “In Peace,” released on July 17, 2025. His performance set the tone for a night full of lyrical skill, spontaneity, and heartfelt vibes. It felt like a full-circle moment, from our Boston event last year, just two days after the album release, to this year, where I was able to sing and rap along with most of the tracks.

Sam Fisher, a friend and artist, joined iKaanic for a live performance of the track “Went For A Jog.” It was a highlight of the night, watching two friends bring a piece of art to life in a playful, fresh way.

After the full "In Peace" performance, the cypher picked back up and closed out the night.

Beyond the music, the evening was about connection, sharing thoughts, and bonding over a love of hip hop culture. This event continues our mission with iKaanic: building a global freestyle community and bridging the worlds of live performances and album storytelling.

Real freestyles. Real music. Real people coming together.

Stay tuned for more cyphers, live performances, and exclusive freestyles from our epic community.
